I was thinking about my last email and realized it might have come across too clipped, so I wanted to add some context.

There’s a certain ranger here who is consistently patronizing toward me every time we interact. I just want to confirm I won’t be training with him—or, if I am, whether I need a strategy to prevent the condescension before it starts. Training
would be fertile ground for that dynamic, and I’d rather set expectations upfront.

This isn’t an issue unless I hear otherwise, so no need to escalate—just wanted to clarify.
