Let me expand on this:
When you started abusing me, I documented it.
And instead of responding to that documentation like professionals, you retaliated.
You told me to chew glass and swallow it.
You told me I was never given the benefit of the doubt.
You reframed everything you could to support a sinister narrative out of whole cloth.
You elicited empathy from me in order to extract disclosures you could weaponize.
You attacked my sexuality under a gay governor.
You had a man I didn't know, who had no identification on him, question me while you were all away for regional events.
You tried to frame what happened to me as "emotional processing" instead of the institutional abuse it is.
You hid behind a portal for ninety days rather than answer a public records request.
You have tried to isolate and contain me at every level, and yet not one of you stopped to see what you are trying to contain.
So let me name it: abuse.
And you are contributing to it.
I built an archive.
No one has threatened legal action for it. No one has asked me to take it down.
Because there's no legal basis.
Because your actions are indefensible but they are accurately described.
Because truth is absolute defense.
And you can't dispute it.
325 days.
That it now how long you have been violating my constitutional rights.
That is how long you have barred me from civic participation.
And that's after the abuse. Because, lest you forget, the abuse itself was also unconstitutional.
So no, your deputy director can't protect you from the consequences you created yourself.
You harmed me. You are harming me right now.

JR,
I received your letter attempting to dictate the terms of my correspondence with Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
Let me be clear: you have no authority to tell me who I can or cannot contact within a public agency. I am a citizen whose constitutional rights your agency has violated for 324 days. You do not get to control how I pursue restoration of those rights.
I will contact whoever I need to contact, whenever I choose to do so. Your "structured process" is your internal matter and has no bearing on my actions.
I don't need your permission to communicate with a public agency. Don't confuse your internal routing procedures with authority over me.

Dear Mr. White (rsw@rswfire.com <mailto:rsw@rswfire.com> ),
The messages you have recently sent to OPRD Statewide Programs Coordinator Allison Watson have been forwarded to me. We understand you are not satisfied with the decision to end your volunteer service with OPRD. The agency also recognizes that you may be filing a legal action.
In light of this, OPRD is implementing a structured process for correspondence related to this matter. Effective immediately, please direct any inquiries or additional information exclusively to me, @ jr.collier@oprd.oregon.gov <mailto:jr.collier@oprd.oregon.gov> . Please do not communicate further with Ms. Watson or other OPRD staff, and please do not expect any responses from them.
When and if you decide to file any legal action, your correspondence will be forwarded to our Department of Justice counsel.
Sincerely,
JR Collier
