Mr. Liedle, Do you hold any role in the Department's public records function? You wrote to me on July 17 about the status of R000879-070126 and R000885-070726 — that the Department is continuing to process them in the order received, and that periods without communication do not indicate inactivity. Those are assertions of fact about two specific requests. The Department's public records page designates Bryanna Duke as the contact for public records requests. As Communications Director, you are her supervisor. Does that make your statements the Department's response under ORS 192.329, or are they something else? Thank you. Robert Samuel White
