Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well,

February is right around the corner, I hope everyone is ready for a great month of hosting out here at Honeyman State Park!  To get things started, here is a copy of the February Host schedule for everyone to view.  If possible, please aim to be here on the 31st of January to get situated into your campsite to begin the orientations the following morning.   We will be trying to hold most of the Orientations in the morning on Saturday the 1st, so if you are unable to make it to the park by that time, please let me know and we can reschedule. 😊

If you have any questions about what site you are headed too, please feel free to contact me via email or text and I will let you know.  If you are in need of a nametag or Host sign and I haven’t already ordered you one, please let me know that as well.  We will have temporary nametags we can make in the meantime.

Without further ado, here are February’s Host Orientation times and locations:

The Welcome Center Orientation will be held on the 1st at 10 am, at the Welcome Center which is located in the center of the campground by the playground and firewood shed.

The Yurt and Site Maintenance Orientation will be held on the 1st at 11 am at the A loop restroom building, parking is available nearby.

The All Host General Orientation will be held on the 3rd at 1pm at the welcome center.  I ask that all of our current hosts attend this orientation as well as our new hosts, for at least the meet and greet portion of it so that we can all get a chance to meet our new volunteers and the park staff.  This orientation will be going over park rules and expectations as well as other relevant information such as laundry, mail and reservation info.
