Hi, [Tugman Volunteer Services Lead].

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the opportunity you gave me this month. I hope that I met your expectations. My month here at Tugman has been memorable and I sincerely look forward to coming back in September, at the end of what I'm
sure will be an exciting summer season.

I also want to thank you for those continued opportunities. April at Umpqua, September at Tugman, bookending what I've decided will be a little adventure of my own. Between May and August, I'm going to make a journey back to Kentucky and then
here again. My journey here was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I'm eager to do some more exploring!

I thought I'd spend my summer here in Oregon, but it's the only months I didn't find volunteer opportunities so I think it aligns with some larger goals - some time back home before I come back here and make this my new home state. This is my
schedule as of now:

January: Tugman

February: Honeyman

March: Honeyman

April: Umpqua

May-August: (Traveling)

September: Tugman

October-December: Beverly Beach*

*I haven't secured that final opportunity yet but I'm hopeful for it. There are three months of welcome center postings on the volunteer website and that's what I'll be doing at Honeyman, it's also a role I've seen others do during my travels
and felt a natural alignment with, so it feels like a position I could thrive in. Of course if it doesn't pan out, I will find other opportunities - it marks the point at which I've experienced the coast (having arrived in October 2024) so I already have some
experience with this time of year here. It's hard to describe the resonance I feel with the life I've begun to craft here, and I am grateful to you for the part you've played in helping me get there. You're a true asset to Oregon State Parks, and to those
you oversee. I mean that sincerely.
