Hi Sam,

I was going to let you know about that when I ran into you again out in the field but haven't had a chance.  It would be completely fine to head out on Monday the 31st as that is usually what I try to coordinate with my departing and incoming Volunteers.  Thank you for double checking though as I didn't note it on the schedules that I printed out.

Leaving and arriving on the final day of the month is actually what most parks are trying to coordinate with each other so that everyone can have a smooth transition into the new month and able to jump right into the orientations on the 1st.
