I hope you are successful at finding an ethical and supportive way to keep our state parks going.

I was a volunteer for Oregon State Parks from January through March of this year. It was a deeply rewarding experience for me - I had only been in Oregon since October the year prior and I had fallen in love with the Pacific Ocean, the beaches, and the state
parks here. I wanted to give back.

But I was met with hostility by a park manager and park supervisor at Honeyman. They bullied me. Then they expelled me. Then your coordinator, [Program Manager], protected them by my erasure.

I expect nothing from you. I am not a legal threat - I will never sue you. I just think you should witness what happened to me within your institution, and I have fully documented here:

Please watch the video where your leadership staff abused me at a picnic table in the day use area.

Please watch the video where your coordinator, someone who once protected gay youth at a university, upheld their abusive behavior and even added to it.

Please read the letters I wrote her after.

Because this is your institution.

You are responsible for them.
