To [Park Supervisor], [Park Manager], [Volunteer Services Lead], and [Program Manager],

I make the following commitment:

I will never let this go until the truth is fully acknowledged.

I was competent. I was professional. I worked hard. I was kind. I held my boundaries. I showed up every single day with an open mind and an open spirit. I gave your institution precisely what it claims to value.

And you spent two months punishing me for naming a supervisor's tone. You took my housing. You took a year of volunteer experiences at parks you will never set foot in. You permanently banned me from public lands I had given myself to freely.

You constructed lies about who I am and what I said and what I felt and what I intended. You weaponized my trust. You sent someone to interrogate me alone while everyone was away. You put retaliation in writing on government letterhead.

You wrapped your coercion and your abuse in the language of professionalism — using institutional authority as cover for conduct that had nothing professional about it.

Nearly a full year later, I am still astounded by what you did. I am still shocked by the distance between what your role requires and what you bring to it. And that is why I won't let this go.

You did this to someone who simply documented your actions as you made them.

Today is Day 339.

And my commitment is as undiminished as it has always been. This will not be hidden. This will not be buried. It will be pursued relentlessly until your conscience has nowhere to hide from itself.

That is my commitment to you.
