One year ago today you dismissed me from Honeyman State Park and gave me 24 hours to leave. Today — on the anniversary — police arrived at a locked federal gate on federal land where I serve as a U.S. Forest Service caretaker. Three officers. No agency identified. They told me they were concerned about what I was posting online. I recorded them leaving. I told them I wouldn't speak without an attorney. I told the officer who called me afterward that this was intimidation and retaliation on the anniversary of the day you dismissed me. He agreed it could have been handled differently.
