I will send a check for $157.50 by mail, payable to Oregon State Police, with a copy of your August 11 letter, to Central Records Section, 3565 Trelstad Ave SE, Salem, OR 97317.

Three requests regarding the payment.

Please confirm receipt in writing with the date received, so that the two-week release period you described has a start date on the record.

ORS 192.324(4) permits fees reasonably calculated to reimburse the Department's actual cost. On completion, please provide an accounting of the time actually expended against the estimate of 5.5 hours at $25.00 and 0.5 hours at $40.00, so that any refund or
additional charge can be understood on its face. If processing will exceed the estimate, I ask for that notice before the additional work is performed rather than after.

Please also confirm how payments of this kind are recorded, and whether a receipt is issued.

My payment resolves the fee. It does not concern the withholding of the body camera video under ORS 192.345(40), which I will address separately.

It may be up to several weeks before I send the check. This email is confirmation of my intent to do so, and it will be done.
