[District staff] —

I want you to see what today produced.

I sent this to Oregon State Parks tonight.

I want to be clear about something. I am prepared for any outcome. If the Forest Service decides my position is no longer tenable I will accept that and move forward. I have always known that was a possibility.

But how the Forest Service responds to what happened today matters. Ethically.

A Forest Service law enforcement officer was one of three who came to my door on federal land today. He called me afterward and acknowledged the visit could have been handled differently. That is now documented publicly. And I do not need to make an issue out
of it. He walked in with incomplete information, and that is where it should stay.

I have broken no laws. I have documented my life and a year of institutional abuse by Oregon State Parks. That is a protected First Amendment right. I have done this because what they did was wrong and if no one speaks up, the next person walks into it as blind
as I was. And I will not accept that.

I am not asking you to fight my battle. I am asking you to know what happened here. And to understand that how the Forest Service handles this becomes part of the record too. If you dismiss me now, you become part of the retaliation. I hope the Forest Service
is better than that.

You have always treated me with respect. I hope that continues.
