YOU NAMED A PRICE, AND I ACCEPTED IT

The price was accepted before the letter was read. The inquiry remains what the Governor knew.

Mr. Miles:

You named a price, and one minute later I asked for the instructions to pay that price.

This of course means I did not yet read your letter in full. You named a price, and I accepted it.

I have since read your letter and I can see that it was meant to diminish me, in four specific ways, and perhaps it was meant to cause an emotional reaction your office could characterize. That seems to be a pattern across agencies.

I want you to know I learn from everything your institution outputs to me. Let me show you what I mean: attached is a PRR to the Oregon DOJ, submitted last night after better understanding what criteria you use for waivers.

I want to know what my governor knew about my matter. When my sexuality was weaponized against me at a state park I was working at for free, and a manager and a supervisor were abusing me in the open, there should have been a process in place that protected me, and nothing did. You are an accountability lawyer; presumably that means you care about such matters.

I await your instructions. And I thank you for your service.

Robert Samuel White
