Location: Beverly Beach Welcome Center
Host Assignment: Visitor Center Host(s)
Dates Needed: April 1st-30th, 2025
Site/Shift Details: C02, working  2-6pm Sunday-Thursday,  OFF Friday + Saturday

Brief Position Description: The Welcome Center at Beverly Beach Campground is focused on firewood and ice sales while providing informative conversation to the public about the campground, surrounding area and other visitor needs. Some interpretation offered in the yurt, but not a requirement to reference.

*   Greet visitors and field questions about area/park/nearby resources
*   Operate POYNT credit card sales system for selling firewood, ice, and other park merchandise
*   Cash handling and preforming OPRD revenue reconciliation procedures
*   Assist in daily cleaning in the building (ex: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces)
*   Restock Firewood cabinet and wheelbarrow
*   Operate trash compactor and organize Recycling Center
Physical Requirements of this position include:

*   Serve as a visible and professional representative of the park
*   Answer questions and give information to the public
*   Attend monthly host orientation and mid-month safety meeting
*   Complete all safety modules, background check, and annual required paperwork
About the park/site: Your campsite, located at Beverly Beach State Park, offers both 30 and 50amp electrical/water/sewer hook-ups.  There are on-site laundry facilities. Cell/internet service is limited within park.  Ongoing campground projects include paving service road, re-doing laundry facilities (laundry units still operational).
