Someone within your institution sent armed officers to my door on federal land. On the anniversary of my dismissal. Over protected speech.

I am putting you on notice as Director.

Men with guns came to the place where I live because someone in your institution made a phone call. That is not a personnel matter. That is not a volunteer management decision. That is the deployment of armed force against a citizen exercising First Amendment
rights on federal land.

You have not acknowledged it. You have not addressed it. You have kept the people responsible in that park. Half a mile from where I live and work.

That is your choice. And it is documented.

If anything happens to me — if there is any further attempt to intimidate me, on federal land or anywhere else — the record will show that you were warned. That you knew. That you chose silence.

I have broken no laws.

You are responsible for what your institution does. You are responsible for who you keep in that park. You are responsible for what comes next.
