This is my final email to all of you.

I was already settling in to let the archive do its quiet work while I searched for the right counsel and let the statute of limitations continue.

Then you sent police to my door.

On the anniversary of your retaliatory dismissal. Behind a locked federal gate. On restricted federal land. Using unsanctioned government resources from adjacent territories. Over protected speech.

And those choices have consequences.

I have now contacted upward of thirty specific journalists, each with unique angles worth exploring in this case. Legislators are next.

This was never about me. This is about you and how you treat the unpaid labor under you. That was a hard argument to make. And then you sent police to my door. And that is the loudest possible message you could have sent to every unpaid laborer about how you
really feel about us.

So thank you for the gift.

The archive is complete. The record is permanent. The story is no longer yours to contain.

It never was.
