Mr. Warren, Your institution recently produced its Volunteer Dismissal Guidance in response to a public records request. I am writing to ask you to answer, in writing, the following questions about my dismissal from Jessie M. Honeyman State Park on March 24, 2025. Your Volunteer Dismissal Guidance requires that before any dismissal, concerns are addressed directly with the volunteer, the volunteer is informed of specific incidents, and documentation is created and submitted to the Region Program Coordinator and Statewide Program Coordinator. For moderate incidents, consultation with the District Manager is required before dismissal. The procedure also requires a written summary of the incident and outcomes. Please identify, in writing: The incident classification — minor, moderate, or severe — assigned to my case. The specific conduct that placed my case within that classification under your own policy definitions. The documentation you submitted to the Region Program Coordinator and Statewide Program Coordinator as required by your procedure, including the incident summary and discussion outcomes. Whether you consulted with the District Manager prior to dismissal, as required for moderate incidents. On March 24, 2025, you arrived at my RV, collected my keys and equipment, informed me I was dismissed effective immediately, and confirmed on camera that there was no paperwork — only, in your words, the conversation we had. You gave me 24 hours to vacate. Your own Volunteer Dismissal Guidance states that park managers are able to dismiss a volunteer from a management unit but are not able to dismiss a volunteer from service statewide. You dismissed me from Honeyman without documentation, without a written incident summary, and without the procedural steps your own guidance requires. On March 5, 2025, you conducted a 62-minute recorded meeting with me at a public picnic table in Honeyman's day-use area. During that meeting you stated, at approximately the 50-minute mark, that you had never given me the benefit of the doubt and would not be able to help me with that. That admission is documented. I am asking you to identify, specifically and in writing, how the procedure you followed satisfies the requirements of your institution's own Volunteer Dismissal Guidance. This request is made in connection with my active public records request and will be documented at oprdvolunteerabuse.org accordingly. Robert Samuel White
