Dear District Ranger,

For transparency, I want you to know I filed comprehensive public records requests with Oregon State Police and Oregon Parks & Recreation Department. I have decided to withhold filing with the United States Forest Service.

I hope you will see it as an olive branch. I don't want the Forest Service to be an adversary too. I had extended a fragile trust for a whole year and was starting to believe it was real.

I can do nothing about what's already in the record, but I can focus my efforts where they've always been, on those who actually harmed me.

Today was lovely at Siltcoos. I explored it a little with a dog named Buddy. He's a resident at Driftwood. 😅
